Alexandra de Rivera is an associate with Fenton Law Group. Prior to joining FLG, Alexandra worked as a Law Clerk in the Legal Department for the United Nurses Associations of California/Union of Health Care Professionals.
Alexandra received her Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School in 2013. During her tenure at U of M, Alexandra was Article Editor, and on the Selections Committee, for the Michigan Journal of Gender & Law. Alexandra’s interest in healthcare was ignited prior to law school when she worked as a paralegal in the Complex Litigation Section of the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, assisting with cases regarding unlawful health insurance rescission, junk health insurance companies and hospital patient dumping. During the summer of 2011, Alexandra further pursued her passion for improving the quality of Los Angeles healthcare by interning for the Health Quality Enforcement Section of the California Attorney General’s Office.
Before attending law school, Alexandra graduated cum laude from Mount Holyoke College with an A.B. in History, Minor in Economics. She received numerous honors including the Anne Stewart Prize in History and Wilma J. Pugh Research Grant.
